Mary Mulrow, LMT

Massage Therapy and more

Mary Mulrow photo

Mary Mulrow is one of our massage therapists here at the Center for Embodied Consciousness in Columbia, MD,

She has over 15 years experience as a licensed massage therapist and a deep commitment to helping others feel better in their bodies.

Mary's clients love her.

She specializes in deep tissue and neuromuscular therapy. Her clients tell her that they appreciate her ability to do deep tissue work without it hurting.

If you'd like to get a massage with Mary, just let her know what you're looking for.

Depending on what you need or want, she'll integrate different techniques in response to what you tell her.

Unlike other massage therapy sessions where the massage seems like it's a "recipe out of a cookbook," Mary individualizes each session for her client's need.

She told me...

I focus in on whatever intent the client has... If it is to deeply relax, then that's where my intention shifts through the session...

If someone wants to do really deep tissue work... I energetically shift into that intention.

Mary Mulrow is also a student in the Zero Balancing certification program. She welcomes new clients who want to try Zero Balancing as she completes her certification process.

In addition... on her own journey, she uses art to express herself. In fact, the image in our logo - on the top of this page - is her work! She's even made a calendar.

Because of it's impact on her life, she has begun offering transformational art workshops. Through her facilitation, she helps others with creative self expression.

In her bodywork practice, she enjoys working with clients who want help to feel better in their bodies because of pain or discomfort that's arisen due to overuse...

... Like when someone works at a computer all day or does some other kind of repetitive or limited movement for work.

She said she "gets a kick out of it" when her clients return and tell her about the improvements or changes they noticed in their posture or movement.

I am delighted that Mary Mulrow decided to have her private practice at the Center for Embodied Consciousness. She is clearly a talented massage therapist who cares deeply for her clients and she is a delightful person on hew own journey of healing and awakening.

To make an appointment with Mary call her at 410.997.4900 ext. 209.
