Day Sixteen of How to Attract Clients and Grow a Thriving Private Practice in 40 Days: One woman’s personal journey of applying Manifestation and Marketing principles to re-building her private practice
By Kathryn Yarborough Marketing from certainty happens when we really believe we will have a full practice (or thriving conscious business). From that place of certainty something shifts... How we think and talk about our business shifts. As this journey unfolds, I’m experiencing a shift in how I’m thinking about marketing Breath of Life Coaching. In the past I’ve thought (and told my clients) that in order to attract clients we need to do the inner work of shifting our vibration into alignment with our goals – as if they’re happening now – and we need to do the outer work of telling people about our work (marketing) so that our ideal clients will be able to find out about us. Something is shifting in me now. These two aspects are merging to create... …Marketing from certainty and with the flow of the Universe. In other words, as I hold myself in the stance and vibration that I am seeing 25 clients a week (supplemented by workshops and trainings), I am experiencing certainty that at some point for sure I will be seeing 25 clients a week – or have 25 paid client contact hours a week. I’m talking freely with people at networking events and even at the orthodontist’s office, about Breath of Life Coaching, and its benefits. I’m hearing people’s responses and I’m seeing where there are real needs for Breath of Life Coaching. I’m feeling the magnetic pull to do this work – as Guidance keeps nudging me with, “This is it, teach people to breathe fully and deeply. This is needed and wanted NOW.” It’s like I want everyone to know about Breath of Life coaching. I’ve NEVER felt this way before about any of my work. So… as I imagine seeing 25 Breath of Life clients a week – with certainty… and talking to people about Breath of Life coaching everywhere… what’s different in me? - I feel relaxed inside.
- I feel certain that there are 25 people every week who WANT to do this work and are grateful for it.
- I want to talk to people about it because I abide in the benefits of deep, full breathing, with an open spine.
So I’m thinking – I could do a free presentation every month that includes breath experientials and information about breath. I’m thinking this might be a great marketing tool. I could give folks fliers about it – or a postcard with info about it… where ever I go. But... As I think about this I have some questions. ...something about my thinking doesn’t feel right. So who is it that is calling to me and how do I find them? I sense that the people who are calling to me to do this work with them – don’t even know it themselves. They are called to work with ME - and not necessarily for breathwork! Wow – what does that mean for me??? Should I be marketing me rather than Breath of Life??? Okay – this isn’t exactly it – yet… My sense is that they want to do healing, transformational and awakening work with me using movement and breathe – they want to breath fuller and deeper and feel liberated in their bodies. When I read this I feel like a magnet. As if those words activate my inner magnet. Marketing from Certainty I want to integrate this knowing into what I say and do for marketing – and combine it with this urge I have to tell everyone about Breath of Life coaching and the importance of breath. Maybe this is marketing from certainty. I want to stay connected to this magnetic feeling then speak and act from there. As you imagine with certainty having a full practice or thriving conscious business, work out the details of your Business Growing Funnel and then implement them. I bet your results will be way better than if you implement your plan from doubt!
