I Need Clients Now! Activating the Law of Attraction Quickly
Day Twenty-Five of How to Attract Clients and Grow a Thriving Private Practice in 40 Days: One woman’s personal journey of applying Manifestation and Marketing principles to re-building her private practice
By Kathryn Yarborough A one-year plan sounds great… but I need clients now! And I know I’m not alone. I talked to two conscious business owners last night and a healing arts practitioner this morning – all who are saying they need clients now! So what do we do now? How do we pay the bills now? The process of becoming a master manifester and great relationship focused marketer is a journey. It takes time to learn and master the skills and concepts. It is doable. But what if "I need clients NOW?" Based on my experience, I know this is a stage. It won't last. As long as I keep focusing on attracting clients, I will attract them. And this is the same for you! In the meantime, since my schedule isn’t filled, I'm going to do the following activities (maybe even the last one!). I encourage you to do the same. The "68 second rule" According to Abraham-Hicks if we use our imagination and hold a thought for 68 seconds it is planted in the Universe and it will manifest at some time. The more consistently we think this thought and feel it as true the sooner it will manifest. The problem with most of us is that we have blocks to manifesting. So we'll say a thought like... And then our blocks will come right up like... - I’m not really committed to seeing 25 clients a week… because I’d rather do other things.
- Being with people 25 hours a week is a huge stretch for me… my habitual preference is to be with people less than 50% of the time.
- I'm not used to being financially abundant. I don't know if I'm really open to it.
Blocks are like weeds in a garden. Left unattended our blocks - like weeds - can take over. They can be pretty, green and strong… and overwhelm all our intentions. If we don’t pull out the roots, they will keep growing back and eventually take over the garden. Both the commitment exercise and the affirmation playtime exercise help pull out the weeds of our blocks. Once you’ve pulled them out enough you can “hold the thought” for 68 seconds of what you want to manifest as if it is already happening. If you still have too many “weeds” – they’ll invade your vibration – consciously or not. Two ways to "Hold the Thought" for 68 seconds - Say it out loud over and over. As you say it, envision it and feel as if it’s true.
I recommend saying it out loud because then other thoughts can’t invade your mind as easily. Say it until you feel the click – the switch of when you actually begin to believe or feel it as happening… then stay with it for another 68 seconds. Sometimes it takes me a couple of minutes before I actually “switch.” - Another thing you can do is say or write your affirmation and then add a sentence completion “and this means ____________.” Then say or write what ever comes up - your first thought. Do this for 68 seconds or more (after you’ve switched into believing it.)
Like… - I’m seeing 25 clients this week and every week and this means my calendar is full.
- I’m seeing 25 clients this week and every week and this means I love the work I’m doing.
- I see 25 clients this week and every week and this means I’m abundant financially.
- I see 25 clients this week and every week and this means I have a lot of clients and this is the main way I work.
- I see 25 clients this week and every week and this means they come to me easily and effortlessly.
- I’m seeing 25 clients this week and this means I’m not working on the computer. I’m with people most of the time. I’m a different person. I’ve shed my wall of separation.
Wow! What if I really helped 25 people every week breathe deeper, resolve their inner conflicts, feel freer to live from Essence, be more present, manifest their desires, or just decrease their suffering (physical or emotional pain)? To do this I will need to let go of things like having free unstructured time most days and being by myself a lot of the time. And I may have to deal with things like clients canceling appointments and working with people and situations that are new to me. And I need to identify ways I can tend myself and get support like hiring a house cleaner and getting bodywork every other week. Lots of changes are coming! Are you still thinking, "I need clients now?" Hang in there. Remember, you're not alone with this... and the "I need clients now" stage is just a step on the journey. It too will pass. Go from I need clients now to Intentions. Identifying intentions can really help when we're feeling stuck.
