With the web hosting and internet marketing strategy I'm going to tell you about, the traffic to the Center for Embodied Consciousness's website has more than doubled in just three months... and that is just the beginning.

If you want an internet presence and are trying to figure out what web hosting and internet marketing strategy you want to use, here are some things to consider...

• Eighty percent of the people who use the internet are looking for information... the other twenty percent are looking to buy something.
• A website that offers visitors information about what they're looking for or answers to their questions will be visited more often and will go up in search engine ranking on google, yahoo, bing, or any other search engine out there.

If you want to create what I call a brochure website... one with just a few pages like your bio, a description of your work, and contact information... that's easy to do, but...

If you want a lot of people to find your website on their own; if you want to sell products on-line; or if you want to make money on your website by selling google ads... with just a little more work, your website can really attract visitors to it and make you money.

Until this past spring - the spring of 2009 - I had always hired a web master to design, create, and update my websites. However, in the spring I learned about blogging and heard that I could create a free blog on wordpress.com. So I tried it and my first mini-website was born.

It was fun and easy!

Who would have thought learning how to put a website/blog together would have been so easy and fun? I certainly didn't think I could do it.

Then I wanted to figure out a way to sell my relaxation CD/mp3 online.

I was clueless about how to do this.

In the process of researching web hosting for e-commerce, I stumbled across Site-Build-It - a web hosting and internet marketing strategy business that seemed great.

The marketing for it convinced me to try it... AND... they said if I didn't like it within 30 days I could get my money back.

Normally I'm skeptical about this sort of thing, but I thought... "What the heck... they seem like they really mean they'll give me my money back... why not try it?"

So I signed on.

They have a "10 - day" course on how to use their web hosting and internet marketing strategy. In fact, you can check it out here... just click this link. You can read it or watch a video of it.

Anyway, I didn't see the course until I had bought their hosting service.

I went through it as quickly as possible - even though they say it's 10 days. You could go through it in 3 or 30 - that's up to you.

I was blown away by the wisdom of their message and the tools they offer to help people like me build a great website.

Once I went through it, I set up Relaxed-and-At-Ease.com... a Practical Stress Reduction Techniques Guide. I've learned a lot as I wrote pages and posted them to that site... and I'm still learning.

However, it is relatively simple.

They have templates you can use. It helps to learn a little html... but you don't have to. And...

They have incredible resources available with just a click. Other people with Site-Build-It sites share their experiences in the forums, so not only do you have the Site-Build-It tools, you can find out practically anything you need to know in the forums.

If you're still not sure what to do, let me tell you a bit more about what I've learned about...

Web Hosting and Internet Marketing Strategy

• If you just want a "brochure" type of site that has a handful of pages like your bio, a description of what you do, contact and location information, and maybe some links... you can EASILY set up a FREE site at wordpress.com.
• The pros to doing this is YOU CAN DO IT, it's easy, it's free.
• The cons are that it's not going to generate much traffic unless you tell people about it or pay for ads.
• Site-Build-It teaches its users how to build a website that attracts lots of visitors... and provides tools to help its users do it. I love Site-Build-It!
• You can have your website hosted at other companies that offer a lot of great templates... and some of them might be less expensive... but based on my research, I didn't find another company that offered web hosting and internet marketing strategy all rolled into one package.
• You can pay someone to design your website, and if you have the money to do so and no time to create your own site, then that can be a great option. You can get a site that looks awesome without having to learn anything... however...
• If you like to write and have something useful to share with people, especially a targeted group of people, then I would really encourage you to check out my favorite web hosting and internet marketing strategy business - Site-Build-It.
